Today, back in 1911, Frank Baker homered off of Christy Mathewson in the 9th to knot the game up at one a piece and was given the nickname of  “Home Run”.  Baker’s Philadelphia A’s scored 2 in the 11th to beat Mathewson’s New York Giants 3-2 in Game 3 of the series…  The A’s went on to win the series in 6.
