Welcome to the online home of Paul Nevins, a purveyor of fine words – and a few crappy ones as well.  My blog is a work in progress and I’m looking forward to see where it goes.  I’ll try to keep it centered on writing, science-fiction, music, humor, baseball and trail running, but who knows – next week I might be fascinated with obscure 14th century mimes and write about that.  You’re just going to have to keep on checking in to find out…

If you have any questions regarding either, the blog, the e-books, or myself just drop me a line in the comment section, – or feel free to e-mail me directly at pjnevins@yahoo.com

  1. Where do you trail run? I always wanted to do that but my nonexistent arches said “Fuck you!” and I retreated back to slow-hiking volcanoes.

Up until a year ago I lived in LA and would run up in the Santa Monica Mountains above Malibu, –nice & cool, breezy – Now I’m out near Palm Springs enjoying Joshua Tree and the ranges surrounding the Coachella Valley – hotter than Hell, but tons less people.

      • Ah, yes, the Cougar Bait technique, and not in a good way. 😉

In the Rockies, it was bears. Here in Oregon, it’s usually just other people doused inexplicably in ten gallons of perfume. Come on, people, really? For a hike?
